The Governor Stephen Hopkins House and museum, at the corner of Benefit and Hopkins Streets. Originally built in 1707 and completely rebuilt by Hopkins when he bought it in 1743. A Cranston native, Hopkins was a Rhode Island revolutionary and a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
