weathered, pitted, and battered by drunk parkers untold times, this guardrail along the parking lot of my apartment building is now on its way to the great smelting pot in the sky (or Attleboro). it was removed along with 20 or so trees a few days ago, at the start of a project to repair the retaining wall underneath it. I miss the trees. the guardrail, well...I haven't had the pleasure of hitting it with my car in eight and a half years anyway, so good riddance.
