Kyoto, Japan

Taken while visiting a Temple in Kyoto. I had said "konnichiwa" to the Geisha in the center, and just as she responded in kind (this is not customary, but for some odd reason we briefly connected)...the Geisha on either side gave her a disapproving look. (original size available for this image)

really nice shot, and a great story --- talk about looks that could kill from the one on the left! is the position of the hands a typical geisha gesture? as they are all holding their hands in the same way
