Common or Viviparous Lizard - Lacerta vivipara. These lizards might be common - but they are sure hard to find as they are usually gone before you notice them. To our surprise we came upon no less than three today - sunbathing together on an old birch tree at the brim of a wonderful bog north of Copenhagen. Sikker was very eager to touch them and play with them - and, even more surprisingly, they didn't mind at all. Have a look in my inbox for images of Sikker playing with the lizards :-)
