Transitioning Back in Time

Transition Challenge - #24

I took many photos at the opening of the Rugby World Cup when 600 Maori Warriors paddled canoes / wakas around Auckland's port.
I love taking people photos and I was at the right place to capture quite a few of these newly painted tattooed faces.

Another photos of the same guy:

I’m sorry this guy below this comment thought the warrior was an idiot, but he was one of Maori warriors performing at the opening of the Rugby World Cup in NZ.

Forgot say, your depth of field is perfect.

Janice if you never take another image you have taken the best. It may be because I am a tragic Kiwi living away from home, but if I still lived at home I would be just as impressed with these two images. You go gal, there will be many photographers hoping you don't start entering comps as you have shot ahead with great speed. V

Looks like he's had practice making those faces. Great that old traditions live on, and two fine images for the challenge. "V"

He's trying to look scary but you can tell he's really probably a nice person. :) Super portrait of this painted warrior. V.
