This past summer we spent three weeks in the Santa Cruz, California area. We spent a lot of time with Cibo, our 10-year-old step-dog. We took him for walks, and gave him some nice rides in the car. We made a few trips to San Francisco to visit Zoe, our one-year-old granddaughter and her parents Adrienne and Judah. We did a lot of walking around Santa Cruz, looking for birds and other wildlife. We had a wonderful time with Cliff and Dixie. We took the little choo-choo train with them from Henry Cowell all the way downtown to the boardwalk. It was great fun. We also attended the Dickens Universe at UCSC and saw old friends there. The weather was beautiful the entire time.
