Once a year agriculture and domestic animals are brought to Kolonia, Pohnpei to celebrate World Food Day - Rahn en Soumwet en Pohnpei United Against Hunger - Miniminpense Sewese Pereh Duhpek

The grounds of the Pwunso Botanical Garden by the NGO, Island Food Community of Pohnpei hosts hundreds of people who come together to identify, and strengthen the understanding of traditional foods and the seeds and legacy of indigenous agriculture. Seedlings are given to attendees, invasive plants are discussed, composting and sustainable organic agriculture and agroforestry are shared.
