The rail line Nora-Ervalla was the first "real" line to be opened for rail traffic in Sweden back in 1856. To celebrate this anniversary, His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf travelled by train from Stockholm to Nora, in the "king’s coach". The beautifully restored vintage electro locomotive Ra 846 from 1955 was the motive power to Örebro, where museum railway NBVJ took over with the steam duo SWB H3 56 from 1931 and SJ Sb 1306 from 1917 as haulers.
The station in Nora with surroundings is probably the most genuine vintage rail environment that can be found in Sweden and thanks to NBVJ for a great event.
