The buckets are pulled with the lower wire, which is clamped by the weight of the bucket itself. As the buckets pass the pylons, the drive wire goes up and when the buckets are in between pylons the wire falls down into the V-shaped catch where it is steered onto one of the wheels which can be seen in the middle of the pylon's height
