From right to left (front to back) - Tom Anderson, Gordon Ward, and Sam McVey. These fellows have lost their school bus bodies (and routes). Harsh political winds could blow a bus driver's body "clean off" the chassis. The driver owned the chassis but the county owned the body. If the bus driver and politicians in power separated so did his bus body and chassis! But a touch of humor could not be lost to the current unpleasantness; so, the classic pose at Anderson's Store that has caused many to appreciate these fellows recording history in such an unusual way.
