Home of Jim and Blanche Lowe. Built around the turn of the century. Mr. Jim Lowe was an enterprising and talented man. He had a Chevrolet dealership at Jacksonville, a store, a Coca-Cola plant, a swimming pool, made caskets and was engaged in many other activities. Young folks used to gather at the old house and listen to the Grand Ole Opry on the radio. He told them that one day there would be an invention which would enable them to see the program.
