The Paktica-story begins before WWII with the Praktiflex which was one of the very first Single-Lens-reflex camera's for 135 film. The first Praktica was introduced in 1949 and the Praktica production flourished in Dresden until 1990.
Included in this gallery are all proper Praktica's as well as camera's produced by the Praktica/Pentacon factories which were sold under different names such as the Pentor camera's imported in the Netherlands (Pentor = PENtacon + ORwo) and the Revueflex sold by Foto Quelle.
