With 126 cassettes no longer available I had to find a workaround to test this camera. Once I had acquired an Instamatic which still had a cassette inside I was able to reload it with Kodacolor VR 400 plus (expiry date 2010). While 126 film and 135 film are equal in width this does not pose any problems. All it takes is some fiddling about in complete darkness and you should not forget to cover up the windows showing the frame number in both the cassette and the back of the camera.
