The playing holes are very tiny and demand a player with not too big hands (on this model). Each pipe only sounds if the playing hole is closed. Unlike with other mouthorgans there is no drone pipe sounding through all time you play it. Some Loo Sheng might reach a size of over two meters.

Manche dieser Loo Sheng erreichen eine Größe von bis zu 2 m Länge, und anders als bei anderen Mundorgeln ertönt hier kein durchgehender Begleitton, da alle Löcher offen und somit anspielbar sind.
