Terrorism? How about investigating a link to BIG OIL?

Actually Canada has said they are giving 4 million dollars. The sad thing is though that the world is so corrupt who knows what actually will go to the people. I'm sure not much!

Yeah, I noticed my error after I posted. Much more important things in life than my ramblings, huh? Oops. I meant Noah's Ark.

God Bless!

Hey Silly Philly - Noah's Ark. Jonah was in the whale!

Of course it's linked to Al Q. & Saddam, terrorism in general. The most fierce fighting in this world is happening in the area of where Christ was born - the true Holy Land. Don't you think our Lord is a little ticked off about all of this unnecessary violence? Think of Jonah and the Ark, my dears. Take that comment with a grain of salt and a moment of silent thought.

Thanks to Hellmut Issels for posting these photos. I am glad that your hotel withstood the tsunami. I'm sure you were terribly frightened while snapping these amazing pictures!

I wonder how long it will take the Bush administration to find a link between this disaster and al qaeda or the reign of saddam hussein.

Canadianeh,
If the insensitive (to say the least!) remarks are from immature children, society has lots to worry about. That people even think some of the stuff posted here, let alone post so that others may be further encouraged to think likewise, is a frightening concept....

The biggest danger of modern, open freedom to communicate is not challenge to established institutions and government, but rather that the fringe and twisted lowlifes of society's dark underbelly will readily find eachother and reinforce eachothers' twisted beliefs and grow in strength and number. Judging from the comments posted here -- and recent world events -- this is a concern that should be taken to heart.

I read that Australia immediately pledged almost 11 million US in aid and the "great" country of mine (Canada). Only pledged 1 million. Something wrong there. Australia also offered to help in building a future Tsunami dtection system. Very honorable.

Imagine having your child playing on the front lawn and swept out to sea the next minute - or being a child who barely understands death and has an entire family swepty away.

This is tragic beyond words. I can only hope that some of the insensitive remarks I see attached to some of these pictures are from immature children. If they are adults, our society has other things to worry about.....
