the pictures are obviously real and anyone that could question them should feel ashamed but it is hard to understand how a wave can cause so much devistation although i havnt seen a picture of the main wave off shore if those palm trees in the first picture werent there then maybee i could see the actual size of the wave instead all i can see is a load of water coming in land

Great quality, can see the true force of the water.

Real good how people who were not even there like to critisize...if your a moron enough to suggest those people you see didn't help at all then you are igorant and stupid. Like most people you would have frozen up by the very sight of it and not known what to do besides get out of the way. And this is a photo...a still shot..so how the hell do you know that they didn't help? It's not like they just stood there in freeze frame the whole time. If you were not there then you don't know shit, and should shut your mouth before critisising the actions of the many hundreds of thousands who did not have any idea what to do when it hit. It's seems that there are some stupid enough to think there is someone at fault here for the death of others, sadly these same people are too busy trying to blame others rather then trying to help themselves.

Sad to say these images ARE as real as they come. For anyone to disrespect the absolute loss of life over there by saying "it doesn't look real" is stupid. All I can say is God bless the children, for I hope that they are all with out pain and fear in a better place next to jesus christ and god. God bless there souls please.

Hi! I have seen these in my dream not too long ago,but who will believe me now? It's like de javu to me..I wish we could have been warned for such a disaster but who are we to question the fury of nature? and of GOD? I say we all pray that it will never happen again,God have mercy on those souls we lost .

it is totally wrong to say those people there are "@$#^&*%" according to what I know they are "frozen" in confusion.

Thank you for this image. The guy in the center talking to the little girl is my brother-in-law and this is the first indication I have had that he is OK. He was out swimming that day and stopped to visit his friend. Thanks again for posting this, they are amazing shots.
