Tammy Rudd and her Wonder Dog "Shebang"

This gallery is dedicated to Shebang's memory. She passed away October 16, 2007 from a sudden and devastating attack of pancreatitis. She was only eight years old. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have met her in person know that we were in the presence of greatness. Tammy will never know how much joy she and Shebang brought to this world. Shebang appeared on Animal Planet's Pet Star two times, and one time on Ripley's Believe It Or Not, having been the winner in Maryland, for their "Search For The Most Amazing Animal" doing her famous "Box Trick" which can be seen on her video website http://www.shebangtrickdog.com.
She has to have been one of the sweetest, smartest border collies you'll ever meet...with one of the most patient and talented of teachers! She is shown here performing at the "Meet the Breed" event held by the Hendersonville Kennel Club in the Blue Ridge Mall in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Tammy, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Thank you for sharing Shebang with us. She was so incredibly special. I wish I could have met her (and you) at Isabel's house. I could tell from her photos that she lit up every room she ever walked in. Love, jane

Ancient Egyptians believed that upon death they would be asked two questions and their answers would determine whether they could continue their journey in the afterlife. The first question was, "Did you bring joy?" The second was, "Did you find joy?". And Shebang's answer to both of those questions is an unquestionably - Yes. There are no words that can describe the terrible ordeal that Tammy is going through to loose such a wonderful, vibrant and energetic Wonder Dog. Shebang shall always be remembered for her grace and elegance, her independence and an amazing presence that she left on Tammy and the members of Digipets. My thoughts are with you Tammy. Sue H

Sometimes things are just so sad. She was a beautiful dog and her owners must be so lost. I am so sorry. She was a treasure.

Until I had seen Shebang's videos, I didn't know that it was possible for a dog to perform such tricks. She was a one in a million dog and you were truly blessed to have had such a wonderful and intelligent pet. I'm so sorry for your great loss and hope that in time the pain will lessen. Ellie

I know you must be feeling so sad, Tammy. Even your friends at Digipets are as we had grown so fond of Shebang through all of your wonderful photos. As I look at this gallery, I can see a smart, wonderful and happy dog. One of the smartest I've seen. I think this gallery and your photos show how loved she was. Hopefully, soon the pain will ease and soon you can remember her and look at all your wonderful memories of her with a smile. God Bless you!

It is hard for me to even leave a comment about this very special dog and here very special owner. They were a match made in heaven! Judith Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...
