Samsung Galaxy S3

Choosing a successor to my Motorola Droid 2 was difficult! I wanted a better camera and chose this one. I didn't make a mistake. Other than the fact that the screen is extremely difficult to see on a bright day outside (even if the sun isn't out) I love the camera. Low light images have a slight pink tint in the center...a phenomenon that exhibited itself with my Droid 2 as well, but low light images from the S3 are infinitely better than those from the Droid 2. I also must report that after tweaking the default settings so that my images didn't get automatically uploaded to Google+ and turning off Verizon's backup my battery life is excellent. I only have to recharge every other day. Battery life, of course, is dependent upon usage, and I rarely stream music or videos, and talk on the phone rarely as well. Note: The GPS locks on to satellites very quickly - way faster than the long wait I had with the Droid 2.

You got some great pix with the S3. I've had mine less than a week and am soon going to test it to it's limits. First impression, not bad, considering it's a camera phone!

I love your photos, and really appreciate that you have always shown us images from a certain camera or a certain lens. I am so happy to see this gallery because I have been wanting to upgrade to this phone - I had read it had a good camera, and am very happy to see this gallery. Thanks again, Isabel.
