The first blossoms on a cucumber plant are male. You can easily tell the female blossoms because they have tiny cucumbers on them. If you don't see any bees, you may want to help pollinate your female flowers by gathering with a paintbrush some pollen from the male flowers (the one shown here is drying open - it would be as open as the female flower shown) and brushing it in a female flower.
