Carpenter Bee on Bok Choy Blossoms

I guess I missed harvesting the bok choy before it bolted. It was planted mid-April and doesn't like warm weather.

The carpenter bee is happy it's bolted. It's such a large bee that sometimes it weighs down the blossoms, though not in this case.

Gorgeous macro. Bees account for over 25% of all our food, no bees means no apples or anything else that needs pollinating to grow. etc.
