acanthocephala terminalis leaf footed bug

I've never seen this stage of a leaf footed bug before. At first I thought it was a spider. It was about 1/4" long and under a milkweed leaf.

Fabulous catch Isabel. I have never seen or heard of these before, but it kind of reminds me of a shrimp, mostly due to its coloration. ~BV~
