It is so dark in the box where this nest was built that I really couldn't see inside it unless I used flash (or a flashlight).
When all activity to and from the nest ceased I felt the wrens had abandoned it.
Yesterday I looked inside and thought I saw a possible bird head. Today, I saw the same pattern in the same position.
Decided to get a lens and set it to over-exposed a lot so the area would be lightened, and this is what I discovered.
I am excited!
