Not going to ditch this lens in favor of the Sony RX10 iv. The wait for the lens to extend each time I turn on the camera is frustrating. I don't have that problem with the 100-400. The focus just isn't as swift and the weight gets to me after a while.
Didn't realize that I'd left the camera in jpg only because I had been making some in-camera hdrs, so these are processed from jpgs, rather than raws, which I prefer for high ISO processing.
