Ever see stickers in car windows or on bumpers that say OBX on them? Those represent the Outer Banks of North Carolina - a narrow strip of land that stretches along the coast of North Carolina. Often seen during hurricane reports because it's often the target of those storms - it's also home to famous lighthouses such as Cape Hatteras light house. It's also the location of Kitty Hawk - where the Wright Brothers performed their first flight. The waters off of the Outer Banks are nicknamed "The Graveyard of the Atlantic" due to the many ship wrecks.
