The weight of the snow and ice have been taking down limbs of our huge pines here in da hood. The Prez of the Association decided that the pines need to go! They were healthy and beautiful and 30 years old! All they needed was a good trim. We live right along an Interstate and the pines were a good defense against the noise and pollution. I am not a tree hugger but....UGH!!!!!!!!! So obviously, your image stirs a lot of emotion for me.
