Getting My Boy Scout Badge

John Buffin had commented on Jim Larkin's "Boy Scout Badge" image a few days ago.
I must admit this is one shot I have never taken..so I put myself up to the challenge.
This is the Nikon CLS system at work..and they do make it easy.
Fill flash from the camera lights the magazine,with a SB800 at -1.7 comp. sit's on the floor to light my face.
Another Nikon SB600 at +3.0 comp. lights the wall off to the side.
All fired by my ML3 Remote.....
I don't do this at all I may have to try it again it was fun....

Great shot Mike! The lighting is fantastic....a much better example of what the Nikon CLS system can do than what's in any manual!

Good stuff. I used an 800 at 1/32 with a snoot to only illuminate the magazine cover. I had an SB 600 knocked down to 1/64 bouncing off of the pages in mine. Yours is great though.
