Hydraulic Techs call it "Gold" customers call it "Expensive"
This is a filter out of a CAT 308 "Mini" Excavator and its full of brass.
The brass is from the hydraulic pump that runs the whole machine....this ones toast.
The damage is a good as gold look at them nuggets!!!
A replacement pump is nine grand!!!!
Not to mention the system will need a complete flush, new oil and about three days labour.
