| The white light was from a 4 cell maglite and the blue light was from one of those LED key-chains you see in the drug stores. Sounds really cheesy but all the shots I take at home are done with things like that because fancy studio lights aren't in the budget. The wine glass is full of water with some food coloring in it (if it's wine I tend to drink it before any good shots are taken) and the background was a sheet of white posterboard I curved. Again, a really budget item. Two for a dollar at the craft store.
White balance was set manually off the light from the flashlight. The different shapes in the white light are dirt on the flashlight's lens that I left on because I thought they looked neat. I propped up the flashlight on a pillow and held the key-chain LED while using the remote to take the picture.
Camera was set to manual, f10, 1s, 100
These were the others I was playing with. I'd be interested in what other people thought.
