Poor kitten that is not allowed on any table was rather confused when I grabbed him and put him on my "studio desk". :) Just a couple of quick (slightly blurry) shots and he was gone again. Will try again ...

On the post-processing side, I learned how to split channels in Photoshop today. You are looking at the red channel here. Levels was the other post-processing.

Lovely cat - really nice space in this shot, wish he was looking a little more into frame - but as you've explained he may have been shell shocked...so you did well!

Cats seem to make it into a lot of PaDs I've noticed :) This is a wonderful composition, I love the tail all stretched out.
