"Most (of the Maldives' resorts) have weather(ed) the tsunami with little if any damage. But 17 facilities in the Maldives are closed completely at the moment and another dozen are functioning with partial facilities. Resorts closed because of damage: Club Med (Kani), Dhonveli Beach, Four Seasons, Fun Island, Gasfinolhu, Hakura Club, Kandooma, Kihadhuffaru, Medhufushi, Olhuveli, the One and Only Kanuhura, Rihivelhi, Soneva Gila, Taj Exotica, Velavaru, Vila Reef, and White Sands."
"The following resorts are open, but have closed portions of their facilities: Alimatha, Boduhithi, Club Med (Faru), Dhiggiri, Gangehi, Moofushi, Nika, Paradise Island, Ranveli, Reethi Beach, Taj Coral, and Veligandu Island."
