city shoe

Many people have put me questions about the 5D

It's another planet.
Starting with the bright and large viewer
and ending with the absence of the crop factor on our lenses (designed for 35mm, in fact)
I'd say in a word that APS sensor cameras (I have owned D60, Rebel, 20D)
appear as "choked" to me now.

The large pixel size seems useful.
It allows lower software in-camera artifacts in toning and colouring
and images look more natural and transparent.

Noise at 3200 Iso resembles Tri-X, that means it's fine, and also beautiful to look at.

Canon RAW processing software is quick and friendly, finally.

(my first subjective impressions, of course)

Canon EOS 5D
1/320s f/3.5 at 50.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

I agree on your subjecrive impressions Adal snd much more, is the first time since using digital that the pictures won't need any corrections.
This is a great shot I love the contrast of the red against the grey tones.

Oh my God! A Canon 5D :)))) Ok! Allow me a few seconds to compose myself... breathe deeply and... Oh boy... I wish I had one....

Anyway... I love this capture! Because of the background, it seems almost like the whole image in in motion... Excellent inded. On a more shallow level, I'll have to say that I loved the shoes... I wonder how they would look on me??

Congratulations on your new camera ;)

EXCELLENT image, Adal.. very much like an advert for jet settting shoes.. I can see a huge difference with this camera. I've been leaning towards an Oly for my next camera but.. this has me thinking. (my head hurts..lol)

Bravo pour cette acquisition.
Ce que j'aime dans cette photo, c'est qu'elle semble toute satinée, bien sûr la chaussure est satinée, mais le reste a aussi cette texture soyeuse.
