This is a window in a private mausoleum. The mausoleum is flanked by cedar trees. It is the resting place for Ursuline nuns. The first Ursulines who came to New Orleans from France in 1727 to build a convent, a school and a hospital are interred in this mausoleum.
There is priest who requested that his heart be interred here and it is.
P. S. This tree was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
