Lynn: There are two light sources. A blue light is positioned pointing from front right to back left and a white light is close up backlighting. Thanks for the comments both of you.

This is an outstanding photo. I love the colors, lighting, and composition. It appears to me the flower was backlit using a concentrated light source...correct? Also, is the blue a part of the flower or the lighting?
