This gallery uses fractals of the Mandelbrot set.
Equations for the fractals of this gallery (MANDEL#2) :
z(0) = c = pixel;
z(n+1) = z(n) ^ 2 + c
2 parameters : real and imaginary perturbations of z(0).
For all the fractals of this gallery, c = 0 and the bailout test = 4.
Only one type of fractal is used here.
All the informations of magnifications and calculations times are provided by a particular machine
with an Intel processor of 2 GHz and a large amount of memory.
For the above image, we have ;
Magnification : 4,555 (4.555 x 10^3 / Calculation time : 39 seconds.
Notes.
1) This fractal (1024 x 768 pixels) is very similar to fractal MANDEL 11, but with some slight differences.
2) All the fractals of this gallery are located on the edge of the fragment of the fractal
shown below inside the cyan rectangle (added manually).
The magnification of the fractal below is exactly 1.
The palette of colors is the same for all the fractals of this gallery (except for some of the last fractals of the gallery).
