Shrew tracks were abundant today. The recent snowfall highlighted the tracks of these small animals. Not sure which species, but I'm going to guess that all the ones I saw were made by the Short-tailed Shrew (Blerina brevicauda), as it is the most common one here. It is also our biggest shrew and is the one most likely to be seen.
