Blue Ringed Octopus, Threat Display

The highly venomous octopus flashes it's bright blue rings to warn potential predators. This is only the second of these I have ever seen, and both were during the same trip.

Aren't they considered to have one of the most lethal venoms in nature? They are beautiful! Is it their bite that delivers the venom or something in their skin? I bet you were excite to see them and photograph them.
