I really want to say that not only is the image fantastic (I might've thought you scanned it directly from a Coca-COla ad :-) ) but the entire process in how you accomplished it was truly amazing. I read the setup procedure and it was truly imaginitive. Kudos on the great picture!

Wow.... excellent shot... is that real coke water used or something coloured just like coke...
Guest 08-Mar-2002 22:27
Do you have a slomo of the bullet just before impact? Great work. Saw your out-takes..bought stock in Coke.

Well, it's all been said already, but this is a winner in my book! Very well done. Helen

Hmmm... very well done. I, like others was going to attempt this. I actually started to do it with an old vacuum hose, the bottom of the can sliced off, and the hose shoved up inside and duct taped. I then filled the hose with a can of coke and twice as much water. When I lifted the hose up in the air the soda/water rushed to the opening and spewed out just like yours... BUT, I was too lazy to build a stable "can holder" and I figured someone would beat me to the punch anyway. Well, you did a fantastic job on this and I know my stuff would not have been this good... great job. I'll be very interested in your technique, too. ScarBoro

If I hadnt seen the out takes, might have guess it was being poured into the can. Was it? No, no, don't reveal yet, part of the intrigue of pictures is, "How was it done?" Great shot Pablo!

Pablo, perfect execution of a great concept! Now, gizza clue ... pneumatic (my guess), hydraulic or kinetic?? ;-) — Mike

Oh you of little faith, boy will you eat your words when I reveal all after the challenge is over! I absolutley guarantee that this has been photographed in "real time", nothing has been edited in, not composited! The question is how much I should charge for the DVD! pablo

A composite you say? I don't think we are dealing with a composite kind of artist here :-)
If it's a composite, let's see you do it mystery poster, then post it to the exhibition gallery. :-) With all respect.

Thats a lot of coke to come out of the small opening of the can. A well done composite. Almost had me fooled

Wow! I don't know how you got the moving coke and the stationary drops on the can. I DO know I like it! Great job! PT Kitty

Great Shot, Pablo! I knew someone would make this shot, but yours would be very difficult, perhaps impossible to improve upon. Very well done. Kerry Pierce

Only one word: " EXCELLENT " ...

You know, I thought of this idea right from the beginning but did chickened out on the fact of getting slurped with coke all over me, it is winter, couldn't do it outside either this is excellent ... So Pablo, your real name is Paul ??? --- Kafrifelle (Yves P.)
