Wonderful capture - really interesting layering, and I love the passageway through the rock!

Very cool Jerry. When I looked at your gallery, I was hoping you would enter this image in the Challenge. It is just amazing!!! Excellent photography from a zodiac no less. Way to go!!!!!!

Wow, what an amazing shot! This is such a cool place, I've never seen a hole in the wall like this before. You've got the perfect perspective to really show off this land form, and all the soaring birds are a real plus. Nicely done!

Thanks Arctic Fox and Colleen. Yes, Colleen, I was in a zodiac on a whale and puffin shoot. You can see the rest of the gallery from this trip here:http://www.pbase.com/icicle50/whalespuffins

Fabulous rock formation and well captured. Were you in a boat when you took this?

Jerry, this photo is really beautiful. A lot of things to look at - the lines, the colors and the birds soaring overhead.

This is beautiful... the birds scattering the sky, the ocean almost the color of the slate, the striations in the rock and the depth created by being able to see through the rock to the horizon (being the only place you SEE the horizon).... at a glance, this old rock almost looks like it's rising out of the water like a big lazy elephant. The colors are beautiful.
