I don't know why this juxtapositioning appeals to me...
Maybe because this kind of woodpile is more typical of outport Newfoundland than it is of the City of St. John's.
Also, the old-style of woodpile is more in keeping with the old Cabot Tower, but not with the modern buildings in between...
