This is my gallery of bird photos taken in various locations in Scotland. There is a variety of photographs, some of very common garden birds which you would see every day, some of speciality species like the high altitude Dotterel, and some images of once-off rarities that I have been lucky enough to catch up with. I suppose really I should be calling this gallery 'Birds in Scotland' rather than 'Scottish Birds' since some of the species shown here are rare vagrants to Scotland rather than native Scottish birds. You need a great deal of luck to catch up with some of them.
