The Go-away birds are members of the Turaco family but unlike most Turacos they are dull and grey. The Bare-faced Go-away-bird is much less common than the White-bellied and in fact we only saw the Bare-faced birds on this one day on the Afar plains travelling between Ankober and Awash.
