Two Ross's Geese which were closely associating with ten Barnacle Geese.
The status of Ross's Geese in the UK is questionable and birds are generally dismissed as escapees or of feral origin.
It will probably require the recovery of a bird ringed in North America to prove a genuine wild vagrant although the increasing frquency of sightings may improve its chances of being accepted by the authorities.
