Beautiful and interesting gallery. The reversal of green to white with preservation of color elsewhere in the images jolts the mind.

That's also how animals with vision in the IR may see things!

Salut Ian! Your photos are wonderful, mysterious and powerful. Obviously very technical, but I know nothing of that. You've reinterpreted much photographed places into textures and atmosphere, sometimes almost abstract, always original. The walls of Carcassonne castle look intimidating, hard and impregnable rather than dinky. Our house and surroundings look so different we have to keep going back to compare the real thing. I especially liked the Canal du Midi with boat, delicate and beautiful, and the window photo, which makes me dream. Best of all, most of your photos have a narrative without being obvious.

Hi Ian, Tim Colebrook passed on your webiste. I very interesting and creative use of digital effects that blend both b/w & colour extremely well. This is obviouslt a a labour of love for you. How do feel about sharing some ideas?

Hi Ian, Got Anne to use her computer so we could have a look at your pictures. Fantastic and fascinating, almost 'other worldly' and very beautiful. Technical, but very artistic and more please!!! Jane (and Anne)

Ian I think your pictures are both surreal and beautifully composed. Are you a total convert to digital or is there anything you still use your old SLR for?l

Wow, the IR is Awesome. Did you blend 2 shots on some of them? They look great.
