'not quite ripe for the picking
these fruits hang on the vine
heavy load for anyone to carry
turning red is a good sign
soon all will be well
they will be ready to eat or sell
but until then i will watch
to make sure this little batch
is always on my mind
waiting to devour the taste
of fruits of this kind'
