I was in Repid and Jawirnyk in July. I met Pani Chalupa-Sharij originally from Jawirnyk. She lives on the main road in Repid with her daughter-in-law. She knew my family in Jawirnyk and told me all about their life. It was through her that I learned I had cousins in Northern Poland. I spoke with them when I was in Poland and recently spoke to one of my cousins that moved to Hamilton in the 90s. My mother's name was Eva Wakeriak. Teodor Wakeriak moved from Jawirnyk to Czystohorb when he married Maria Feshanycz. Pani Chalupa and I became good friends because she was a good friend of the Wakeriaks in Jawirnyk. Orysia
