A little wooden fishing boat, bright blue and left tied to a small wooden stake at the edge of Loch Awe in Assynt. It was full to the brim with water no doubt the result of many autumnal deluges. The previous Spring I had seen someone fishing the loch from the same wee boat, they were completely alone no doubt enjoying the complete isolation it afforded.
