Loch An Eilean Castle

Loch An Eilean, Cairngorm, Scotland.

This delightful little loch nestles close to the Cairngorm mountains and has a characterful island castle which is often partially hidden by a swirling morning mist that hovers over the loch. On this particularly fine November morning the soft muted greys greys contrasted surprisingly well with the watery colours of the foliage, painting a canvas of picturesque serenity.
