Hoar Frost Beinn Eighe

Beinn Eighe, Torridon, Scotland.

Lugging my big Pentax up the summit of the Scottish mountains is always hard work, but then again I always seem to be rewarded for the effort I make so I tolerate the weight. This is a secondary ridge on Beinn Eighe. A narrow band of frozen grasses resloutely stay frozen despite the amazing conditions on the summit. It was T shirt weather and it was January.
