Inverness Twilight

River Ness, Inverness, Scotland.

A violet twilight from an overcast winter's morning at Inverness from one of the many bridge crossings over River Ness. Although I had anticipated the response of velvia in this long exposure to the blue of twilight I was very pleased with the way the street lighting stood out both in reflection and as pin pricks of light on shore.

At first, I'm impressed by the color, but then I notice the openess of the water, and the light texture created by the wind. It's an awesome shot!
