This is one location that I just love to shoot in low cloud or mist or better still in the heaviest of downpours. On this occasion I had a mixture of low cloud and heavy rain and the combination looked stunning with the peaks of the Glencoe mountains including the Pap stepping back in ever paler shades of recessive grey tones. The rain effectively simplifies the tones reducing the colour hues to a monochromatic pallette with only the nearest objects ie. the island retaining colour, albeit gently muted.
